Park History

Our park has a rich oral history that needs to be preserved in writing, the efforts of those both years past and today can be preserved.

While every memory ever made at the park in the last 56 years would take far too many pages to be written we would like to capture some key moments of when the park began and all the building blocks along the way that allowed us to arrive where we are today.

​

Also understanding we can not sit down with every person to have a personal interview we wanted to provide a way for founding and contributing families to tell their stories and hopefully share some pictures.

 

The goal of this project is preserve history.  We hope you will join with us.

We ask that you be as specific of dates and times as you can, this will help in our effort to chronicle events.

 

Maybe you have the ability to document all the things that your remember or maybe you can sit down with a loved one and let them do the writing for you but we humbly ask for your story, because in truth your story is our story.
